Executive Director’s Letter December 3, 2019

If you have checked your inbox today, you already know it’s #GivingTuesday. There are so many wonderful causes to think about today, but I hope you will choose to support the awesome work of GBCA and Urban Arts Leadership. Need more enticement? In addition to fostering the careers of aspiring leaders of color, your gift will match a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. There are only a few hours left in the campaign so click here to participate and be sure to share your love for GBCA on social media!

Are you an artist? The Baker Artist Portfolios are entering their final weeks. Act now so that you can be a part of the 2020 season and have your work viewed by art aficionados and collectors from around the world. Need a hand with creating or editing your portfolio? Baker Artist Program Managers David London and Renz Balagtas are setting up a series of work sessions, so watch this space.

By now you are probably being flooded with invitations to holiday parties from your friends and admirers. That may be, but be sure you mark your calendar in INK for the GBCA shindig on December 16. We definitely want to see you at the beautiful GBCA offices so we can share our great appreciation for your support and spread some yuletide cheer.

Best,

Jeannie
