Executive Director 10/20/20

The November 3rd General Election is just around the corner and there is a lot at stake. It’s exciting to know that as of October 2nd, more than 2 million people in Maryland have already voted, but how about you? Do you have a voting plan? What follows are tips about engagement including how to vote safely to avoid exposure to COVID-19.

Voting by Mail
If you plan to vote by mail, today is the last day to request your ballot! You can do so through the Maryland State Board of Election website here.

After you receive your ballot, it must be completed and postmarked (in the mail) by Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020, and received no later than Friday, November 13th, 2020 by 10:00 AM. You may also return your ballot in person by Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 by 8:00 p.m. at your Board of Elections or a Ballot Drop-Off Location. You can then find ballot tracking information through the Maryland Board of Elections at this link here.

Early Voting

Maryland voters can vote in person before Election Day. The early voting period runs from Monday, October 26th, 2020 to Monday, November 2nd, 2020.

Voter Registration

Although the online registration option deadline has passed, you can still register at an early voting center in the county where you live on November 3rd or at an election day voting center. Go to during early voting. Or an election day voting center. Be sure to bring proof of residency. This includes your MVA-issued license, ID card, or change of address card, or your paycheck, bank statement, utility bill, or any other government document with your name and new address.
