2021-2022 ArtsCONNECT Program

ArtsCONNECT supports projects developed collaboratively by a consortium of three or more presenters within the mid-Atlantic region.

Each presenter in a consortium may request funding of up to 50% of the negotiated artist fee for the project, not to exceed $10,000, plus additional support to cover project expenses.

Presenters can seek potential presenting partners by submitting artist and project information to the Projects in Development listing, and learn about other developing consortia to possibly join.

New this year! Presenter Pitch Sessions:

Presenters are invited to participate in virtual pitch sessions to coordinate potential ArtsCONNECT consortia with other presenters in the region. Pitch sessions are organized by Mid Atlantic Arts.

Important Program Updates:

Due to the challenges that the field is facing through the ongoing pandemic, we have revised our guidelines to adjust to new realities. Here are the key updates:

Virtual engagements: ArtsCONNECT can support both in-person and virtual performances and activities

More support to cover project expenses: Beyond subsidies to cover the negotiated artist fee, funded presenters can receive additional award amounts of $2,000 to cover other project expenses

No restriction for booking an artist in your own state/jurisdiction: This year, eligible presenters can apply for artists based in their own state or jurisdiction with ArtsCONNECT funding
