dance/NYC: OPEN CALL FOR PROFESSIONAL DANCERS

Buglisi Dance Theatre is proud to partner with Dance/NYC, The September Concert, and all of our friends from the NYC dance community on the fourth year of The Table of Silence Project 9/11 at Lincoln Center. The Table of Silence Project 9/11 is a multi-cultural prayer for peace, realized through a transcendent ceremony for 100+ dancers, that carries out the vision of choreographer Jacqulyn Buglisi and artist Rossella Vasta. The site-specific work is a poetic call for tolerance and peace in our world. For the thirteenth anniversary of 9/11, Artistic Director Jacqulyn Buglisi invites all dancers with professional experience to please join her for this powerful message of peace from the cultural capital of America to the world.

The Table of Silence Project 9/11 ceremony takes place on the Josie Robertson Plaza, Lincoln Center on Thursday, September 11, 2014, 8:15am. Since 2011, over 400 dancers have participated in The Table of Silence, which has been viewed via live stream in 45 states and 82 countries.
