Imagining America Proposal Development Workshop

Imagining America Proposal Development Workshop

March 6th from 11am to 1pm in the Apartment Community Center

RSVP by Wednesday, March 4

UMBC is hosting the 2015 Imagining America (IA) national meeting, September 30 – October 3, which is a testament to the powerful civic work long underway here, and to campus leaders’ commitment to fostering civic agency, engaged scholarship, and a culture of innovation and inclusive excellence.

We are pleased to announce that IA, in close collaboration with the UMBC Conference Planning Committee, finalized the Call for Participation.

The BreakingGround Working Group will host an IA Proposal Development Workshop on March 6th from 11am to 1pm in the Apartment Community Center (see C5 on the linked map). Members of the BG working group and UMBC’s Imagining America conference planning committee will be present to help participants envision and craft collaborative and group proposals. This workshop will also be a space to work on BreakingGround grant proposals.

Lunch will be served.

Please RSVP to Romy Hübler ([email protected]) by Wednesday, March 4th.
