We are pleased to announce that Subjugated Knowledge: The Literary Journal is now accepting submissions and applications for editorial positions.
There is a certain kind of denigration that is foisted onto the knowledge that is produced by people in the margins–people of color, people that are queer, people that are agender, gender fluid or gender non conforming, immigrants, refuguees, people that are disabled, people that are experiencing or have experienced homelessness, people that have been or are imprisoned, and so on. The primary goal of Subjugated Knowledge is to provide a platform for the people that are situated within the margins to produce and disseminate knowledge and creative work. By refusing to denigrate the work that is produced by people situated within the margins, Subjugated Knowledge reconfigures the ways in which we think about thinking and the ways in which we think about and knowledge production
Please submit your notes, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, scholarly essays, rants, experimental writing, musings, interviews, playlists, reading lists, photography to [email protected]. (Multiple submissions are permitted and we accept work that is unpolished.)
The authors of selected pieces will be contacted within one week. Please feel free to contact [email protected] if you are interested in an editorial position or if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you, and we look forward to receiving your submissions!
