Massive ships. Soaring jets. Chesapeake maritime traditions. Come aboard the legacy event succeeding the highly successful Star-Spangled Sailabration in 2012 and Star-Spangled Spectacular in 2014. Join Living Classrooms Foundation in being a volunteer for this exciting, city-wide event, and be a part of history!
Living Classrooms Foundation is managing the volunteers for this event, and needs your help to make it happen! Volunteers are needed for a variety of events from October 8th-16th. There are two ways to volunteer - with a group or as an individual. Details are below; to learn more about either option or for any other questions, contact Rebekah Meyer at [email protected].
1. Your company or group can become a "Volunteer Partner"! In return for helping to recruit and manage volunteers for a certain part of Fleet Week, receive benefits similar to being a sponsor. Learn more about partnership options at https://livingclassrooms.org/eventdocs/6b386e.pdf.
2. Volunteer as an individual! While we love having group/corporate support, there are also lots of ways for individuals to get involved. Please note that the individual volunteer opportunities will be continuously updated in the coming weeks, so keep checking the website!
