Jamaican Pottery for Stress Relief

Students will learn the method of traditional

Jamaican coil pottery using both slab and

coil methods. Students will learn the basics

skills to make traditional forms and shapes

of vessels and rustic decoration reflective of

art and nature. The inspiration will come

from traditional Jamaican culture and

pottery traditions. Students will learn the

many benefits to their health and well being

that comes from the joy of making

something beautiful.
