About the literary journal:

There is a certain kind of denigration that is foisted onto the knowledge that is produced by people in the margins–people of color, people that are queer, people that are agender, trans, gender fluid or gender non conforming, immigrants, refugees, people that are disabled, people that are experiencing or have experienced homelessness, people that have been or are imprisoned, and so on. The primary goal of Subjugated Knowledge is to provide a platform for the people situated within the margins to produce and disseminate knowledge and creative work.
