Call for Artists: Out of Order (OOO): MAP's 21st Annual Benefit Exhibition and Silent Auction

Maryland Art Place (MAP) eagerly anticipates the return of its 21st Annual Spring Benefit Exhibition & Silent Auction, Out of Order (OOO) on Friday, April 13, 2018, at 7’oclock in the evening. The iconic fundraiser, featuring over 250 artworks, music, libations and light fare, will take place at 218 West Saratoga Street located in the Bromo Arts and Entertainment District on Baltimore’s west side.

One of the most celebrated annual events among the Baltimore arts community, Out of Order provides an opportunity for emerging and professional artists to hang their work in a salon-style exhibition while making meaningful connections with patrons at the event. OOO plays host to a variety of artists and professionals practicing in the visual arts and is a great opportunity for students and emerging artists to get their feet wet in Baltimore’s creative sector.

OOO is a unique way to get involved with Baltimore’s growing art scene while supporting one of Baltimore’s most established contemporary arts organizations. Proceeds from art sales are split equally between MAP and the artist. Revenue generated at Out of Order directly supports MAP’s programs, exhibitions and opportunities; furthering MAP’s mission to support emerging and mid-career artists and professionals throughout the year. For unsold work, MAP is pleased to offer an opportunity for artists to contribute their work to a local charity, ACCR - The Art Connection of the Capital Region.
