Calling All Queer Artists-
An Invitation to Third Space: The Pride of North Side (Tercer Espacio: Orgullo de North Side)
The soul mission of Third Space: The Pride of North Side is to provide a safe space for the LGBTQIA community. We seek out underrepresented areas and create platforms for our voices to be heard.
Our agenda is simple: The Queernormative. Promoting queer sex, ideas, art, & resources. We will not hide, shy away, or be ashamed.
Third Space: The Pride of North Side is currently seeking artists and vendors for its first festival event on October 5, 2019.
If you are queer, we are looking for you and your work! We are aiming to specifically to highlight works from our local LGBTQIA+ community. Our plan is to provide a safe space for people to promote queer-friendly perspectives, art, and resources.
We are offering a number of spaces at the McCandless Street Goat Farm for exhibition, performances, and vending opportunities. The McCandless Street Goat Farm is 1.5 acre destination beautifully adorned with cactus and home to a number of goats and a miniature pony.
Several areas of the farm will be used for installation space and will be available for artists to work on their concepts.
Third Space will also involve a collaborative work that gives back to the North Side community for all participating artists. (More details to come soon.)
