The Oklahoma State University Department of Art, Graphic Design and Art History seeks entries for its 2019 Cimarron National Works on Paper exhibit. Artists living in the U.S. are invited to submit work made with or on paper, produced within the last three years. Examples include prints, drawings, photography and mixed-media work.
This year, the Cimarron National returns with an expanded vision for contemporary works on paper. Serving as juror for 2019 is Jodi Throckmorton, curator of contemporary art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. The exhibition will be held in the Gardiner Gallery of Art on the Oklahoma State University-Stillwater campus September 9 to October 10.
The Cimarron National Works on Paper will award a purchase prize of up to $2,000. Purchased work will be added to the permanent collection of the Department of Art, housed in the Oklahoma State University Museum of Art.
