Rubys Grantee Carla Brown to be Keynote at NASPD Conference!

GBCA is excited to report that Carla Brown, 2014 Rubys grantee in media arts, will be a keynote speaker at the National Association of State Park Directors (NASPD) annual conference in Omaha, Nebraska next month! She was invited by NASPD to discuss her film project Everyone But Two, which retraces the routes of her African American grandparents' cross-country travels, by trailer, to visit state parks in 48 states. Congratulations to Carla!

Carla is currently on the road, completing the first leg of her journey following her grandparents travels. Keep up with Carla's adventures by checking out her blog.
