Eligibility:
This is a national juried visual art competition and exhibition that is open to any artist who is a resident of the United States and is over the age of 18, working in two-dimensional media. Painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and mixed media works with a maximum depth of five inches; as well as other traditional or non-traditional two-dimensional media, excluding film, are welcome.

JPEG IMAGE SPECIFICATIONS:
-File format: JPEG and JPG only
-1200 pixels or greater on the longest side
-5MB maximum
-Correctly orient the image
-Follow this filename format for each entry: “LastNameFirst Initial-Title” (Example: SmithJ-SelfPortrait.jpg)
Larkin Arts reserves the right to reject any juried artwork that is noticeably different from the submitted JPEG image or does not comply with entry specifications.

Exhibition inclusions will be juried from digital media, so quality is essential. Artists may submit up to two (2) works for the non-refundable fee of $35. All works entered must have been created within the last three (3) years.

Entries must be submitted via CaFE (Call for Entries)

Notice of Liability:
All reasonable care and precaution will be taken in the handling, storing and installation of works submitted for this competition. The artist is responsible for insuring work during shipping and for the full length of the exhibition.
Participation in the entry process constitutes an understanding and acceptance of the conditions set forth above.

Sales:
The Gallery will take a 30% commission on any sale of work made during the length of the exhibition or for any sale resulting from the visibility of the work during the exhibition. Artwork that sells during the exhibition must hang in the gallery for the remainder of the show and will be shipped to the buyer at the end of the exhibition period. Artists will be paid by Larkin Arts for any sold artwork after the exhibition period is over.

Larkin Arts reserves the right to not display work that differs significantly from the submitted files.
All accepted works must be framed or otherwise ready to hang (please see the Gallery Guidelines on our website for additional details). Works on paper must be behind glass or Plexiglas and professionally framed and wired to hang on a single nail. Artists should not ship artworks with glass (plexiglas only for shipped artwork). Works on canvas or wood must be framed or have gallery wrapped edges and be wired to hang on a single nail.

Works may be shipped via USPS, UPS or FedEx, or hand-delivered. To avoid breakage and damage of artwork, please do not ship artwork framed with glass. Shipped work must be in a reusable cardboard box and have a pre-paid (ready to use) label for return shipping included in the box.

All work must arrive at the gallery between September 24 - 28, 2017. Hand delivered works must be dropped off during this period. The gallery is open for delivery Monday-Friday 11am-7pm.

All unsold work that does not include a pre-paid return shipping label must be picked up in person October 27 - 29. All works that include a return shipping label will be shipped by November 7.

Larkin Arts is not liable for any artworks without return shipping labels that are left at the gallery beyond the designated pick-up period.
