BMA Seeks Development Department Intern

The Development Department is seeking a Fall Intern to assist with an archival records project as well as perform donor and fundraising research.

The archival project will include archiving files, creating a new system for the organization of those files, and perform basic data entry. The intern will also compile research and update the database (Raiser’s Edge) accordingly. The Intern will also have the opportunity to attend Development related Museum events during the evenings and on weekends. These events will give the Intern a better sense of how the Development Department build relationships with members and potential donors.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Archiving files
  • Updating database records
  • Creating new system for file record organization
  • Attending Development events

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Database experience a plus

Cataloguing/archival experience a plus
