Chesapeake Shakespeare Co. seeks a Marketing Associate-Graphic Designer

Chesapeake Shakespeare Company in Baltimore seeks an experienced, skilled, and theater-loving Marketing Associate-Graphic Designer. This is a full-time position working in our downtown office, with approximately 60% of weekly responsibilities devoted to project management and 40% of weekly responsibilities devoted to graphic design in the marketing office of a thriving professional nonprofit theater for the classics. Three to five years of experience in graphic design (digital and print), and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, are required.

SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Marketing Associate will:
* provide administrative and design support for the theater’s performance, education, and development missions;
* create graphics and write for internal and external communications;
* manage digital and print sales campaigns, appeals and mailings;
* build relationships with patrons, media partners, and vendors;
* and other projects as needed to support the company’s revenue goals, institutional missions, and branding.
