Auditions for The Knight of the Burning Pestle & Henry V at BSF

What to Bring:

One copy of your photo/resume,

Any musical instruments you play,

A copy of the audition form, filled out (available on our website),

A list of all your known conflicts with the rehearsals listed below. We ask that actors limit their conflicts to three (3), and please note that no conflicts are allowed for tech week. If you have more than three conflicts, it may not eliminate you from consideration if the director feels that s/he can work around them.

The Knight of the Burning Pestle by Francis Beaumont

Directed by BSF resident founding artistic director, Tom Delise.

Base stipend is $275.

Text work weekend is Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 18, 2019. Working hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Regular rehearsals begin September 14 and most rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays (7-10 pm), Thursdays (7-10 pm), and Saturdays (10-4).

Tech week is October 28, 29, 30, and 31 -- no conflicts allowed for tech week.

Performances at St. Mary's begin November 1 and runs through Sunday, November 24.

Two additional performances will be held at Boordy Vineyards on Sunday December 1 and Sunday, December 15, 2019.

There are two matinees tentatively scheduled for this production: Wednesday, November 6, and Thursday, November 14. Both matinees begin at 10 am. and actors will be paid an extra stipend of a minimum of $25 for each matinee performance, in addition to the base stipend of $275. These extra stipends will only be paid if the matinees are held.

Henry V by William Shakespeare

Directed by BSF resident company member Grayson Owen.

Base stipend is $400.

Text work weekend: Saturday, Dec 7 and Sunday Dec. 8. Working hours are 10 a.m. – 5 pm.
