Administrative Assistant Position:

Title: Administrative Assistant

Part Time | $18 an hr.

Maryland Art Place (MAP) seeks a part-time Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: data entry using the cloud-based platform, Little Green Light; issuing of letters as needed to the public, donors and members of MAP; records retention and refilling of historical records; list management; organizing historical files, ordering and organizing office and special event supplies; credit card reconciliations and other light financial paperwork.

The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Executive Director on memberships and donor relations. The Assistant may at times be asked to work evening events. The Assistant is required to work in office, 3 days a week, 5 hour days, 11-4pm | $18 an hour. Exact days of the week to be decided with potential candidates.

Requirements:

MAP is seeking an individual with a BA from a 4-year university or equivalent work experience. Ideally the assistant will be highly organized, timely, detail oriented and able to adapt and work well in a fast-paced, constantly pivoting environment. Candidates should be able to multitask, track deadlines and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Please be comfortable working on Macs and using Microsoft suite.
