Ballet Theater of Maryland holding AUDITONS for student roles in CINDERELLA

for student roles in CINDERELLA
at the Modell Lyric Theater

TO DANCE SCHOOL AND DANCE DEPARTMENT DIRECTORS: We would be very grateful if you would please forward this information to your students. We would love to have Baltimore dance students performing in BTM's Cinderella at the Lyric. If you could please reply to us if you think you may have students auditioning, we would appreciate it. This will help us determine the location of rehearsal venues.
To Baltimore Dance Students:

AUDITIONS, student roles, for Prokofiev’s Cinderella, to be performed at the Modell Lyric in Baltimore, on Saturday, March 28.

With its triumphant debut of Swan Lake at the Modell Lyric in March of 2014, the Ballet Theatre of Maryland, Maryland’s premier professional ballet company, leaps from the page onto the stage with their second collaboration with the Baltimore-based Lyric Theater to present this classic fairy tale.

Auditions will be held at the Modell Lyric from 3:00 to 5:00 on Sunday, January 11, 2015 and include:

3:00 to 3:30: Mice--Intermediate Beginning Ballet III
Ages 8 – 10, M/F. Students must be enrolled in 2 to 3 ballet classes per week at their home studio. No pointe work.

3:30 to 4:15: Clock Trolls, Dwarves, etc--Intermediate I, II
Ages 11-13, M/F. No pointe work.

4:15-5:00: Cobblers and Elves--Intermediate II, III and Advanced
M/F. Some roles include pointe work.

Rehearsals, TBA, but all candidates must be available from the last week of February through the performance on March 28th. Rehearsals will meet once or twice per week until March 25-28 when we rehearse in the theater.
Come dressed in appropriate ballet attire.
