The Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Program Director for Performing Arts within its Division of Tourism, Film and the Arts, Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC). The Program Director of Performing Arts (Dance, Music, and Theater) is responsible for core programs directly related to the agency’s mission to encourage and invest in the advancement of the arts for the people of the state. Daydreams + Nightmares Aerial Theatre (DNA Theatre) seeks a dynamic Mask Maker for our upcoming production of "The Sorrow Message." Our productions are visually engaging and require a sense of intense creativity and collaboration. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with aerial performers, unorthodox materials and techniques and have impeccable knowledge of color theory. This position will require tight collaboration with our Hair & Makeup designer; Many elements worn by the performers will be hybrid mask / costume / hair / makeup.
