The Baltimore Museum of Art Seeks Center for People + Art Volunteers

The Baltimore Museum of Art is seeking curious, warm, empathetic, and articulate individuals to act as hosts in the Center for People + Art, slated to open in October of 2015. The 6,000 square foot space includes a cross-collection Project Space featuring a 3-year thematic exhibition; a Community Commons featuring a community table and artwork by a regional artist engaged in participatory practice; and a Studio Space for creative production. Interpreters will play a central role in ensuring that each visitor feels cared for, engaged, and respected in the Center.

Auditionees may sign up for a 5 minute slot. Interested parties should email Producing Director Kellie Mecleary for an audition slot at [email protected]. Please indicate your availability for all of the audition dates.

Auditionees should bring a headshot, resume, and 2 contrasting monologues to the audition. Monologues should be no longer than 1 minute each.

Single Carrot Theatre seeks female actors between the ages of 35-50 for a role in its upcoming production of Blind from Here by Ensemble Member Alix Fenhagen.

Audition date: Monday, April 27th, 7:30pm-10:30pm

Please Bring to the audition: two contrasting monologues and 16 bars of a song. You will also be asked to read a monologue from the play cold.
