BmoreArt is a Baltimore-based print magazine and webzine that celebrates, questions, and critiques art and culture. It started out as a community-based blog in 2007 and evolved into a professional webzine in 2014 and biannual print journal in 2015. BmoreArt works with a diverse team of writers, art historians, artists, photographers, and designers to create a multifaceted and authentic vision of Baltimore as a place for creativity and community, but also serves as a constructive critic.

The Modell Lyric seeks Musical Theater Camp Director

The Modell Lyric Education Department is looking for an experienced musical theater director for our 2019 Musical Theatre Camp team. Camp runs from Monday, June 24 through Thursday, July 25; Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. The director will be needed for 3-4 hours each day, as well as the audition day which is [Sunday, April 28] from 10 am to 4 pm.

Baltimore Center Stage seeks part-time Group Sales Representative

Baltimore Center Stage seeks a part-time Group Sales Representative to grow and cultivate new group sales patrons for the 2018/19 Season. Primary duties include use knowledge of the Baltimore DMA to identify target prospects, cultivate new relationships and maintain existing relationships that complement the theater’s programming, approaching these prospects through email, direct mail, in-person, and cold-calling. The Group Sales Representative will need to meet production group ticket income goals as set by the Associate Director of Marketing.

The Howard County Arts Council is seeking artwork in all media to include in upcoming exhibits. Individual artists, aged 18 & older, as well as curators and arts groups interested in presenting a group show, are encouraged to apply. Gallery Officer

The Walters Art Museum has an immediate opening in our Security Department for a Gallery Officer on the dayshift; core work schedule is 9:15am to 5:15pm, Wednesday through Sunday. Gallery Interpreters

Overview:

The BMA is recruiting empathetic, articulate, and enthusiastic individuals to serve as weekend gallery interpreters in the Joseph Education Center. These part-time, temporary positions report to the Manager of Tour Experiences. The position term runs from December 1, 2018, through November 17, 2019. The compensation for this position is $12/hour for 6 hours per week—with additional hours of periodic paid training. All training and work take place on Saturdays and Sundays.
