BmoreArt Advertising & Distribution Manager

BmoreArt is a Baltimore-based print magazine and webzine that celebrates, questions, and critiques art and culture. It started out as a community-based blog in 2007 and evolved into a professional webzine in 2014 and biannual print journal in 2015. BmoreArt Managing Editor (Full Time)

Managing Editor Duties & Responsibilities:

Assign stories and manage pitches from writers around the region and present them for feedback at our weekly editorial meetings at Motor House

Produce original written content for BmoreArt online and in print on a regular basis and report on news and other relevant stories as they unfold

Design and populate a regular publishing schedule for online content, formatting and uploading content, editing, and making corrections as needed

The Modell Lyric seeks Musical Theater Camp Director

The Modell Lyric Education Department is looking for an experienced musical theater director for our 2019 Musical Theatre Camp team. Camp runs from Monday, June 24 through Thursday, July 25; Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. The director will be needed for 3-4 hours each day, as well as the audition day which is [Sunday, April 28] from 10 am to 4 pm.

Baltimore Center Stage seeks a part-time Group Sales Representative to grow and cultivate new group sales patrons for the 2018/19 Season. Primary duties include use knowledge of the Baltimore DMA to identify target prospects, cultivate new relationships and maintain existing relationships that complement the theater’s programming, approaching these prospects through email, direct mail, in-person, and cold-calling. The Group Sales Representative will need to meet production group ticket income goals as set by the Associate Director of Marketing.

This is a full-time position working in our downtown office, with approximately 60% of weekly responsibilities devoted to project management and 40% of weekly responsibilities devoted to graphic design in the marketing office of a thriving professional nonprofit theater for the classics. Three to five years of experience in graphic design (digital and print), and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, are required.

Gallery Interpreters

Overview:

The BMA is recruiting empathetic, articulate, and enthusiastic individuals to serve as weekend gallery interpreters in the Joseph Education Center. These part-time, temporary positions report to the Manager of Tour Experiences. The position term runs from December 1, 2018, through November 17, 2019. The compensation for this position is $12/hour for 6 hours per week—with additional hours of periodic paid training. All training and work take place on Saturdays and Sundays.
