BSA seeks Jazz Instructor

Experienced jazz instructor needed to lead jazz ensembles at the Baltimore School for the Arts. Primary responsibility involves coaching two combos and leading one big band consisting of the students in the combos. Students audition for these ensembles and the instructor is free to choose those who are qualified and assign them to ensembles at his/her discretion. Jazz ensembles meet Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 2:40 until 4:15. Jazz ensembles are featured in concert for the public and parents once each semester. Additional performances may include run-outs and Expressions our annual fund raiser.
