Robert W. Deutsch Foundation seeks Associate

If you’re interested in learning about philanthropy and the management of a foundation, and in being part of a professional management team, consider applying for the full-time position of Associate at the Robert W. Deutsch Foundation.

The successful applicant will report to the Foundation’s president and to the chief operating officer. The position is an entry-level, professional “first step” into the nonprofit sector.

The Associate is a vital member of the Foundation’s professional team. Within the team, the Associate serves as an “optimizer” for the entire office and the Foundation’s public initiatives, ensuring that the office operates efficiently, and supporting members of the professional staff. Responsibilities range from being the point of contact for guests and visitors, to managing mailing lists, to scheduling meetings, to being part of a special events implementation team, etc.

Starting salary range is $30,000 – $36,000/year, depending on prior work history, with a competitive benefits package of health insurance, paid holidays, vacation, etc.

Preference will be given to residents of Baltimore City. Applicants should have a baccalaureate degree and a history of successful full or part-time employment, either during post-secondary education or after graduation.
